1. The 5x WCT Buddy Points promotion for Mastercard debit and credit card payments (“Promotion”) is held during the Promotion Period and the Promotion is only open to WCT Buddy members (“Members”). 

2. This Promotion is applicable for purchases made at any participating outlets in Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru and gateway@klia2.

3. Shoppers may present up to three (3) combined same-day receipts as day of redemption with a cumulative spend of RM200 and above to the Customer Service staff at the Concierge Counter of Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru (located at Level UG) or gateway@klia2 (located at Level 2) for verification during mall operation hours during the Promotion Period only. For avoidance of doubt, the receipts which make up the cumulative spend must be from the participating tenants within the same retail mall.

4. Each WCT Buddy member is entitled to earn 5X Buddy points (i.e. 5 points per RM1 spent) for the cumulative spend of RM200 and above at Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru or gateway@klia2, as the case may be, using a valid Mastercard credit or debit card during the Promotion Period. 

5. Shoppers are required to upload the same-day receipts (as shown to and verified by the Customer Service staff at the Concierge Counter) within 24 hours of the purchase date onto the shoppers’ WCT Buddy mobile application (“WCT Buddy App”). 

6. The 5x WCT Buddy points is available on a first come first served basis and is limited to a maximum cap of RM250,000.00 worth of receipt sums uploaded onto the WCT Buddy App for purpose of this redemption. Each WCT Buddy member is entitled to earn a maximum of 10,000 Buddy points only during the Promotion.

7. Payment transactions using fully or in part, tenant discount vouchers, WCT Mall E-Vouchers and physical vouchers are not eligible for Buddy Points earning.

8. Receipts from supermarkets, bill payments, prepaid reloads, currency exchange and temporary promotion booths will not be accepted for the purpose of this redemption.

9. Upon our verification and approval of the uploaded receipts, the Buddy Points will be credited to the WCT Buddy member’s account within approximately seven (7) business days from the date of the receipts.

10. Members will be notified via push notification from the WCT Buddy App when the Buddy Points have been credited to their WCT Buddy account.

11. This Promotion is only open to WCT Buddy members whose membership is valid and is not suspended or terminated by the management.

12. The management reserves the right to disqualify and/ or reject any receipt at its absolute discretion without having to provide any reason. 

13. The management reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

14. The management’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion is final.

 

Terms & Conditions: -

 

1. The Voucher Bonanza Sales campaign (“Campaign”) is held from 15 June 2024 until 31 August 2024 (“Campaign Period”). This Campaign is only open to WCT Buddy members (“Members” or “Buyers”). Only Members are allowed to purchase WCT Malls E-Vouchers (“Vouchers”) available for sale during the Campaign Period. If you are not yet a member, please download the WCT Buddy mobile application and sign up as a WCT Buddy member.

2. Buyers are required to spend an accumulated sum of RM200 or more and upload their receipts on the same day of purchase on the WCT Buddy App before purchasing the Vouchers during the Campaign Period.

3. Payment transactions using fully or in part, tenant discount vouchers, WCT Mall E-Vouchers and physical vouchers shall not qualify to enjoy the offers under this Campaign.

4. Each eligible Buyer is entitled to purchase a minimum of RM200 and a maximum of RM2,000 total worth of WCT Malls E-Vouchers at a 20% discount on the E-Shop in the WCT Buddy App (“E-Shop”) using a valid Mastercard credit or debit card. For example, Buyers shall pay RM1,600 only for purchasing RM2,000 worth of Vouchers.

5. The denomination(s) of the Vouchers shall be determined by WCT at its sole and absolute discretion. For example, RM5, RM10, RM50, RM100 and RM500.

6. All Vouchers are available while stocks last on a first come first served basis. 

7. Buyers must make payment for the Vouchers in accordance with the terms stipulated by WCT Malls E-Shop Sdn Bhd or its affiliates (“WCT” or “we” or “us”) and comply with all other terms and conditions in respect of the Campaign as may be stipulated by WCT.

8. Payments for Vouchers must be made at checkout in the E-Shop using Mastercard credit or debit card only.

9. Members’ eligibility for purchase of the Vouchers as well as the issuance of the Vouchers to the members’ WCT Buddy account will be verified and processed by us within three (3) working days (Mondays to Fridays between 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m., excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) from the date of Vouchers purchase. A push notification from the WCT Buddy App will be sent to the Buyers once the Vouchers have been credited into their WCT Buddy accounts.

10. There shall be no cancellation of the purchase of Vouchers, exchange of the Vouchers with cash or other items or change of the Vouchers denomination on the part of the Buyer once payment has been received by us. 

11. There shall be no refund of payment whatsoever once the Vouchers appear in the Buyers’ WCT Buddy account, unless the circumstances in Clauses 11 and 12 hereinbelow arises.  

12. In the event a Buyer pays a sum exceeding RM2,000 for the Vouchers, WCT will refund the excess payment by bank transfer to the Buyer within ten (10) working days, less such administrative charges of 2% which shall be paid to WCT.

13. In the event a Buyer makes payment for the Vouchers without fulfilling the terms and conditions in Clauses 2 and 3 prior to the purchase of the Vouchers upon our verification pursuant to Clause 9 hereinabove, WCT will refund the Buyer’s such payment via the E-Shop or bank transfer to the Buyer within ten (10) working days, less such administrative charges of 2% which shall be paid to WCT.

14. The Vouchers are applicable for usage at participating retail outlet(s) at WCT malls (“Participating Merchants”) excluding goldsmith shops (for example, Poh Kong, Tomei, Wah Chan, MJ Jewellery etc.). The list of Participating Merchants can be found in the links below or at the respective retail malls.

a.WCT Malls

15. Buyers are entitled to earn WCT Buddy Points (“Points”) for successful purchases of the Vouchers. The Points will be only issued upon appearance/receipt of the Vouchers in the WCT Buddy account subject to such other terms, conditions, and policies applicable. For avoidance of doubt, all Points issued shall be calculated based on the amount paid by the Buyer for the Vouchers. For example, if a Buyer successfully purchased RM200.00 total Vouchers value, the Buyer shall be issued 160 Points, taking into account the 20% discount given.

16. All Vouchers shall have a validity period of four (4) months from the date of issuance thereof. There shall be no extension whatsoever to such validity period unless otherwise subsequently informed by WCT. 

 

Voucher Value and Additional Voucher Value

17. A Buyer shall only be entitled to receive Vouchers equivalent to the value of the Vouchers paid for by the Buyer (“Voucher Value”). In the event any additional voucher value beyond the Voucher Value (“Additional Voucher Value”) was erroneously entered into or mis-issued to the Buyer’s WCT Buddy account for any reason whatsoever, the Buyer shall NOT be entitled to such Additional Voucher Value, which is unpaid for. WCT shall therefore be entitled to pursue a repayment equivalent to such Additional Voucher Value from the Buyer, and the Buyer shall agree to: - 

(a) make full payment of the Additional Voucher Value to WCT through the E-Shop on the WCT Buddy App where a payment gateway shall be made available within ten (10) days of WCT’s notification to the Buyer and thereafter the Buyer shall show a valid proof of payment (bank transfer slip, payment receipt, payment confirmation email etc.) to WCT’s satisfaction, subject always to Clause 18 hereinbelow; or

(b) allow WCT to forthwith cancel and revoke the Additional Voucher Value from the Buyer’s WCT Buddy account upon WCT’s notification to the Buyer.

18. In the event of the Buyer failing to make payment for the Additional Voucher Value pursuant to Clause 17(a) within ten (10) days from WCT’s notification to the Buyer, WCT shall be entitled to impose interest at the rate of 3% per annum on a daily basis as from the expiry of the ten (10) days until actual payment thereof together with such late payment interest accruing thereon, without prejudice to such other rights and remedies available to WCT. 

19. In the event of the Buyer having utilised all or any part of the Additional Voucher Value at any Participating Merchant, WCT shall reserve absolute right to cancel such Additional Voucher Value utilised (in addition to cancelling and revoking the rest of any unutilised Additional Voucher Value and exercising such other rights and remedies available to WCT) and forthwith require the Buyer to make payment equivalent to the Additional Voucher Value utilised directly to the bank account belonging to WCT, to be provided to the Buyer.
